Someone you had probably never heard of unless you were one of the many conspiracy theorists out there who think Glenn Beck is the second coming, is suing Beck and his company for wrongful termination. Her charge? She was fired because she expressed her honest opinion.
Tomi Lahren (no, that is not a misspelling) was summarily fired after last month saying, on the air, she was pro-choice. Initially she was suspended for a week, then later received a phone call stating, "her employment was terminated" and "she would have no more shows."
Beck and company say she is still being paid to which Tomi claims they are doing so "presumably hoping they could find an exit strategy to sanitize their unlawful conduct under the Employment Contract."
Apparently if you're a conservative woman and say you're pro-choice you are persona non grata. So much for all the whining we hear from "conservatives" when Democrats supposedly turn their back on someone who doesn't toe the party line.

P.S. And yes, this being a private company, they are free to terminate an employee whenever they want or cancel a show. That is not the point.
