I don't have one. I swear. I never feel bad about anything I do, or at least I didn't until I met my current bestfriend/lover/everything I need.... is that good or bad?

I'd say that makes you one Very, Very good person or someone with the strangest moral code I've ever met.

well no! I mean i do all sorts of bad stuff - i once stole a hundred dollars from a friend of mine *sighs* and i do bad stuff all the time... but... it never bugs me!

well maybe you feel bad now because you care about your best friends/lovers feelings more then you have other people ... i think thats pretty natural :) ... i feel more guilty and upset when i hurt my girlfriends feelings then anyone else's

that makes sense.. but even before we were friends. i can be a total asshole to anyone in the world and not give a flying fuck, but if i even say "bitch" around her (she hates that word) i feel terrible...

i think from being with my gf its changed me ALOT ... in good ways though ... i think when you meet someone really special you do change and for the better :) maybe thats happening to you

sounds like you two are a nice couple

*big silly-stupid grin*i hope so, or else i'm just going nutso

hmmmmmm always gets a conscience.....sounds like a great movie.......:p :p :p hugsssssssss looks like someone is in love wooooooohhhhhoooooooooooooo......:) :) :)

I know exactly what you mean Always!

Though for the life of me I would think the classification sociopath would apply if this were really the case, fortunately there are destructive sociopaths and constructive sociopaths.

The destructive sociopaths are serial killers, megalomaniacs’, massmurderers etc… the constructive sociopaths are just ordinary people like you and me, who live their lives to their own moral tune.

We make good assassins (working with our own governments of course), bad military personnel, good friends or bad enemies depending on which side of that equation you find yourself.

Don’t fret about going nutso, as a sociopath you would probably classify that way already.

Droll / Troll

Me, I'm the exact opposite.

I've got such a strong ethical code, I can't do anything wrong, or even slightly dishonest. I'm often plagued by guilt over not getting more things right in my life.

how does one go about weakening a conscience so that it's not a straightjacket?

(Straightjackets are fun, though...)
:p

I with ya there...my conscience cripples me at times from taking chances...things that other people consider "normal" behavior..whatever that is... ;)

Psychopath - don't know, don't care

Sociopath - does know, doesn't care anyway
