Thank you Angeline, maria and eagleyez.

Startled my socks off. Must have just snuck in there.

And let me add my praises to the others. I feel rather like the red headed step child after reading and listening to their offerings.

Thanks to all that have encouraged me to strike out into the challenge of poetry- especially OT. I think I may have found a home. :rose: b

Very well deserved nominees, these are four outstanding poems that all inspired and enchanted. Loads of congratulations.

Thank you to everyone who took time to vote for my poem and thanks for the comments in this thread.

Congratulations to the three poets beside me. :rose:

Re: Re: Congrats to the January Poetry Nominees

What can I say? I rock. ;)

But seriously, I constantly feel humbled and dwarfed by a great bunch of poets and their work here. I'm eternally grateful for all the support given. And congratulations to the rest of the nomis.

:rose:

Btw, spotted those two familiar names in the list.

Fetish - Equine Surprise / jthserra
Toys & Masturbation - Cocking It Back / thenry

Well done, guys.

Congratulations poets...

and thank you Linbido for mentioning my story. I think you spotted it before me. I was a bit surprised my pony girl story would do as well as it did.

jim :)

Congrats to everyone on your most excellent poetry and stories. Keep them coming for us :rose:

Where's the trophy? Money? Oiled up man bodies? Do I get anything?

Insanity increased as I tried madly to remove all those oiled up butt stains from my new sofa.

Just tell everyone it's part of the pattern. This is why you should never buy solid-colored furniture or rugs. My mother taught me that--well not the part about men and oil and uh ... you know...just that patterns hide stains (we always had ugly furniture but it looked clean, damnit.)

<Have you ever noticed that we wreck a lot of threads this way, you and me--I mean with insane prattle not ...oh never mind. I need caffeine?> :D

Jeez, I had to scroll up to see which thread we were molesting this time.
I have two sofas and two kids. One with patterns and one solid... the sofas. The solid sofa has kid stains. The patterned sofa may be dirty but I don't have to see it, so I'm happy. Well, I'd be more happy if had a bevy of oiled man butts... on plastic covered furniture, of course. On second thoughts, I'll take them without oil. That's just too messy and it makes it way too easy for them to slip away.

Go look at the nurturing poet thread and tell me what you think of the idea.
