I just wanna figure things out. All the sexual diseases that you can get from intercourse, can they be passed via my partner swallowing after a blowjob?

If so, have all of you been checked out before you let her swallow, and for the ladies, do you swallow not knowing what they carry?

I been thinking about this and it seems real dangerous as it doesn't seem as bad as having sex...

You follow what I'm saying?

I'm not a doctor...but I do know that you can get some diseases from oral sex...not sure which ones or if it is from swallowing. but some of them can come from skin to skin contact...like if you have herpes...she can get it on her lips and in her mouth from coming in contact with you. some people suggest using a condom/dental dam when you are giving oral sex.

Ok, I have the answer you're looking for. I recently brought my (now ex)boyfriend to a clinic so we could both be testing for everything. Although I knew that I was clean, he had a risky past, so I was nervous.

The 2 most risky sexual acts are actually anal and oral. Which surprised me very much. This is because you are dealing with not only semen, but also blood, saliva, and feces. Even if you don't cum, the risk is still there. So, don't be fooled into thinking that if you pull out you'll be safe. The nurse had me so scared to death that I didn't even want to touch him.

We both tested clean, thank God. But then we broke up. lol

I'd happily talk with you about details of the testing if you'd like. It is SO important to be tested and have any partners tested. Until you do, always use condoms for anal and vaginal sex. Although I love oral sex as much, if not more, then the next person, it's best to wait.

The question isn't swallowing. You can't let that cock anywhere near you without there being some risk of disease. Even precum has some sperm in it, which a lot of women don't realize until they get pregnant, and from an infection standpoint is the same as the cum itself.

If you want any exchange of bodily fluids at all, and don't want risk of swapping diseases with your partner and every person either of you has ever been intimate with, you have to get tested.

You gotta love when someone starts a thread and then disappears. Especially when it's such an important topic

Nah...they'll hopefully be back. Or if nothing else, they came, they read, they understood and then took off. What matters most is that the info is tossed out there for the masses. Many thanks to you for that important bit of knowledge, N&N.

You're always a fountain of knowledge & opinions!;)

YA!! A leaky fountain maybe! I gush more opinions then knowledge usually, but this time I was right on target, so you're welcome!

guilty

i'm guilty of giving oral and swallowing for a guy i didn't really know at all. i checked out clean though, months later. i was lucky. i wouldn't do it again. yeah, i'd read the info, listened to the hype. i did it anywayz. i wouldn't recomend it though. it got me scared for quite awhile once i'd thought about it.

I guess it's just too bad that flavored condoms taste icky and get caught in your throat...

The swallowing part is probably not as bad as the having it pass through your mouth first part as far as danger goes. Stomachs are pretty inhospitable places for the most part, aren't they. I would think that brushing your teeth and flossing are probably high risk activities bbj (before blowjob). I think that sex, any sex is a risky business if you are not sure who you are having it with.

Minout

Of course I am not an STD specialist and could be full of shit.

Hey I'm back. Nah I'm always around on Lit. I'm very needy of knowledge. I didn't get to my computer for a while, that's all. The info you've given is really great.

I guess I find it weird how slutty girls/women give blowjobs freely when there is so much danger to it.

As many of you guys and gals who've replied seem mature and willing to listen, I'll just clear things up that I'm a virgin, sexually active bar intercourse and this is my first relationship in which I have become sexually active. So as you can imagine, I'm a guy who's just had his first b/j lol and is quite eager to know everything lol! Also, I think I'm very much in the dark about a lot of things regarding sex and Lit it just a great place to learn.

Although I'm still a virgin, I really find it weird thinking about going for a check up... just a thing that surrounds the thought that deters me... but there's nothing bad about it...

Also... you mentioned how diseases are passed through passing of bodily fluids i.e. a guy's cum. So what ways are there for a guy to get something from a girl... going down on her...?
