Sailors, businessmen, 60-year old independently wealthy gentlemen, timorous CPA's and leisure-suited car salesmen...they all are pulled to this hole-in-the-wall by the lure of painted girl fantasies.

For tonight I outlined my lips differently than my usual balloon pout, and have done my eyes quite differently. I have created the look of a doll, and I stare at the crowd with frozen precision. Perhaps I am Pinocchio's sister, sculpted in bisque in some 17th century Italian studio. I have tried to remove all traces of humanity from the look through a flawless use of three layers of foundation to remove every blemish, every minute crinkle of age. I feel I should walk around stiff-armed and stiff-legged like a wooden puppet or a mechanical automaton. My chest is filled with cogs and gears that whir and whine. My closed eyes pop open...PING. My lashes flutter; my lips purse; I smile; I frown; I smile. In the mirror I watch my lips pneumatically suck at the end of my cigarette; smoke curls in thick dreamy ropes from the corners of my mouth like slutty little sex snakes. I try to beg for release, but I am mute, voiceless, trapped forever within a prison of my own fetishes. These are just thoughts; ruminations and most important it is just a dream.
