Hello fellow authors!

I've started writing as I wanted to get some things off my chest. I kinda used Literotica like a confession or diary. Since my first entry I got a lot of requests about continuing. I was surprised that people actually enjoy reading about my experiences. Initially I thought it was weird but to be honest I kinda find it thrilling!

Unfortunately I don't have much time for writing about every encounter. How do you deal with the time? I might start writing again if I can make a lot of people happy! :D

This is a case of do as I say, not as I do, because I don't regularly do this, but I think most writers would say you should set aside some part of the day for writing and make yourself write during that time. Even if you write for only half an hour you'll make progress. It's true of anything: you can accomplish more than you realize if set aside modest chunks of time on a regular basis and dedicate yourself to doing your thing during that time.

Judge for yourself how important your writing is, and spend time and effort to match. Maybe that's daily or on weekends or sick breaks; it's up to you. Some writers dedicate specific times for scratching out a minimum of words. But Robert Heinlein's rules for successful writing (abridged) are simple:
  1. You Must Start Writing.
  2. Finish What You Start.
Timing is up to you and I have no idea of your life. Can you set aside half-hours at wakeup, lunchtime, bedtime? Can you keyboard or dictate during commutes? I dictated notes, essays, songs, games, fables, etc into a voice recorder as I drove or biked or walked, then transcribed and polished later.

I try and write something every day. Used to work shifts so I’d use my days off between shifts to just sit and write all day. Now I try and grab an hour every morning as well as an hour in the evening and weekend time. The best is usually right after I get home while dinner is cooking. I have my own writing area- big L shaped workstation where I keep everything and that helps too. That’s my writing space.
