You're part of the Pyramid of Love gathered outside the courthouse in Santa Wherever the Jacko trial is being held, right? To show your support?

At the very least, you've entered your name in the lottery to get a seat at the trial.

Confess.

It's good for the soul.

Okay, Dr. Mabeuse, MG and others guilty of this: allow me to explain once again that Diet Coke propelled up and out through the sinuses STINGS like a BITCH and is not good for my keyboard.

Please post one of these alert smilies: ! next time you're about to make that happen, so I can swallow first.

Elephant man. Bones. Heehee...Chimp, llama, those little go-karts.

But it does wonders for cleaning off grimy monitor screens.

Regular Coke stings less. (It does, trust me.) But it's even worse for your keyboard.

Desicions, desicions...

/Ice - waiting for Jacko to claim the Not Quite Human defense.

Maybe the dream team will pull off the first successful "I like little boys" defense.

One question Ice, do you sleep, ever?!
Usually from 5 in the morning until lunchtime. Only way to keep in sync with all those damn yankees who don't wanna adjust to Greenwich time.

5:30 now...

So, goodnight y'all!

And that, laidies and gentlemen and others, became my last giggle of the day.

Off snoring.

I just hope that this trial, the Robert Blake trial, the Martha Stewart trial and the Scott Petersen trial, combined, will last through the election.

I hate election years. I spend the entire time seething. I for one will welcome the diversion of celebrity trials.

As Dubya said to the Iraqi insurgents while other people were standing in their cross-hairs, "Bring it on."

Hijacking my own thread to pass along this moment from tonight's Conan O'Brien monologue: "Rosie O'Donnel and Boy George have achieved the impossible: they've produced a musical that's too gay for Broadway."

I would think MJ's best defense would be to claim he was being descriminated against.

It would take the courts years jsut to figure out exactly what he is now. If anyone ever needed the "other" box on forms it's MJ.

Just one question....do I want to know what the "and others" represents???

Whisp :rose:

Jacko?

I think there will probably be a race card played, but which race? It would be hard to define the persona that's being discriminated against.

Diana Ross? Pink? The late Danny Kaye?

Also: Does this mean Johnny Cochran will specialize in glove-related cases now?

If it don't fit...

Race will play a part, exactly what race will be important. Age should play a part too, I mean Mj's nose is younger than the alleged victim is. Obviously the way MJ was abused by the police will be important too, most people brutilized by the cops leave the station house with a big smile and flashing the V for victory symbol. Sexual orientation should be important as well, Gay, straight, bi, TG, other?

I firmly believe MJ deserves the full benefit of our legal system, but Ihave to ask the question, just where are you going to find a jury of his peers? Neverland being closed and all.

It seems his peer group is 12 year old boys. I know a lot of men who still act like they are 12, but I don't know of many actual 12 year olds who would end up on a jury. Unlike the rest of us 12 year olds are adept at getting out of jury duty. I think it's descrimination

ella, you may not know, but I collect phrases to embroider or emblazon on tee-shirts. The first came from an AH thread ("Shit happens" is not irony.) Now I will add the one above, or perhaps make it the label on all my underwear when next I go to band camp.

kiss, hug,

Perdita

Will you all please stop spelling defence with an 'S'. I just hate it.

Gauche

"He sat on defense" just doesn't seem right, Gauche. Please advise or advice.
