me and my girlfriend have been having sex now for quite some time. every time we have sex she gets iritaded. we do not know if it is fromt he condoms or if something could be wrong. all we have used is latex condoms. does anyone have any suggestions of what other condoms we can try or what could be wrong if you have had similar problems. thanks

It would help us if you'd share which condoms you're using. She might have a latex allergy or sensitivity. Try switching to polyurethane condoms (popular brands include Trojan Supra non-latex and Durex Avanti). She could also be having a reaction to any lubricant or spermicide that's on the condoms you're using. So you could try a non-lubricated, no spermicide brand. Really hard or vigorous thrusting or if she's not ready, relaxed, and lubricated enough can also cause irritation.

well we do use lube. at first we tried ky and we didnt like that. then we tried astro-glyde and that worked great we both really seemed to like it. ne other good lubes? as for condoms we have tried a lot. the worst ones were the trojans in the teal box. the best was the brand that is lubed with astro-glyde right outa the box. and were can i buy these other condom you were tellin me about and how safe are they compaired to latex.

I've seen the Durex Avanti at almost every store. I'm sure you can find more info (and it looks like you can get a free sample) at www.durex.com . As for the Trojan Supra, I'm sure it's also widely available. Check out www.trojancondoms.com for more info on all of their products. The trojan has nonoxynyl-9 on it though, so I'd stay away from it completely (this is a known irritant for most women). You can also get either of these products online... do a google search and you'll come up with all sorts of sites and info.
Polyurethane condoms are FDA approved for pregnancy and disease prevention. They have not undergone the same amount of testing as latex, but they are just as safe according to what I've read. They also have been rated as more sensitive and heat-conductive by many users. You can use either a water or oil based lube with them.

If you change condoms, lubes and make sure you're not using anything containing Nonoxynyl-9, and she's still irritated, she needs to see a doctor. She could have some kind of an infection or anatomical problem.

are there any other suggestions out there for this, or can some people give me ideas for different lubs that might work

For gods sake avoid those condoms that look there's a sea shell on em... Makes me think about hermit crabs... and that just ain't right. As far as lubes... wifey and me like Wet Platnium.

Speaking of condoms Has any other guys had a bad experience with the Mint flavoured ones? It's almost a burning feeling. Any others though are fine.

thanks

thanks for the tips, the seemed to have works. i got some of the silicone lube to try and it is unbbelieveble. thanks again. no iritation after we tried it once, thats all we could do sense we were not really alone all weekend.

Stay away from the sheepskin ones, big $ and theyre damn near impossible to put on. I had a problem with em slipping off too, not that im small i usually have to use magnums, but i guess since theyre not stretchy at all they just kinda slide off insteada cling on???? 2 BIG thumbs down!!!
