Which do you think is more effective? I was always told that if she is on the pill then no protection is needed. (It feels so much better without a rubber).

The pill. I've had too many friends who have caused pregnancies or fears of pregnancy through misuse of a condom, torn condom, or other mishaps.

Any method of contraception is only as effective as the person is competent at using it...... so in that case I would say the pill is probably more effective much harder to screw up swallowing a pill than it is putting a condom on.
But in theory a condom should be 100% effective at birth control!
