Bay’s agent, Mark Schechter, said she was distraught but had been a model, responsible citizen in coming forward. “Her courage should be lauded,” he said. Her previous test, in late July, was negative.

Bay’s most recent on-screen partner was reported to be Xander Corvus, who, in a separate production with a different female actor, recently played the disgraced New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner.

How about that?

Hasn't California very recently (within the last two weeks) passed a law requiring condoms in all porn filmed in the state?

Yes they did and I believe it was going to lead to most porn business heading down to Florida who as we all know is pretty lawless all the way around.

I understand why it is a series discussion to have about condoms in porn, but fact is it does affect the fantasy.

I recently saw a video where the girls put a condom on a guy just to blow him and it was a total turn off.

If new porn will require condoms I can foresee a big resurgence of the sale of older porn movies(older as in before this) and the amateur sites will be booming as couples posting their own movies won't be affected by this rule.

This is, however, a testament to how clean the porn industry is that it was caught this quickly. Porn is a long way from the drug and diseased riddled 70's where all female pornstars were runaway coke addicts.

I agree.

These people are professionals having sex for a living - accidents are always sad but statistically unavoidable. Analogous we also lose a race car driver once in a while regardless of how careful the professional drivers are.

The condom laws are obviously made by people wanting to kill the porn business under the guise of "protecting the performers."

My Bad.

I thought California had passed that law years ago not just recently. Shows how far behind the times I am when it comes to porn!

Actually it had been in the works for the last year or so, but various lawsuits by the industry and other parties held it up. I think it is still in a state of limbo pending the resolution of the last civil court cases, whether or not the film producers have chosen to observe/ignore its intent.

Not being involved with the porn movie industry or, sigh, a porn actress, my interest in this is tenuous to say the least.
