Condom Smell

My boyfriend and I use condoms and after we have used them, we tie them off and throw them in the trash can. The thing is, after a few days, they start to give off an unpleasent odor that only get worse as time goes on. This does not make sense because all the cum is encased in rubber. We were wondering why they smell and if there is anything we can do to prevent it. Thanks

Yes, we throw out the trash regularly but they smell in two days and taking the trash out to throw away two condoms and little else seems silly. It would also cause a lot of extra packaging, due to the trash bags, as well as extra work to go to the dumpster that routinely.
