Yes, likely a typo.Likely spell check typo.
Conceiving? As in hours of hot, sweaty sex. Being used again and again, being filled with a man's seed - and kept that way.
Excellent! Although please note that varied classes of sperm exist -- some attack, some block, etc. It's like a team effort. Let's see the POVs of the winner and his supporting crew. On the other side, ova are not so diverse. How about the POV of an ovum observing the race/battle? Or several ova conversing about their experiences? How about a story from the viewpoint of the sperm? What do you think the sperm feels as it penetrates the wall of the egg? Gotta be something like an orgasm.
I think it would be fun to write it but NOT make it clear that we are watching a team of sperm attacking an egg. Give them normal human names, and describe the action like it is a military maneuver. Only when we get near the climax (heh, heh) does it become obvious to the reader that he is reading about an actual conception occurring.

Yes, the woman as sperm receptacle, baby-making machine, totally objectified, fucked endlessly & mindlessly, a juvenile fantasy: keep her barefoot & pregnant.
OR -- a detailed description of the copulation-and-insemination process, rather like a nanosecond-by-nanosecond account of a nuclear detonation. Ka-bloo-ey.
OR -- the Conception Game. Contestants vie for the first impregnation. Is it an Olympic-class competition? Are they judged on style as well as speed and force?
