In one momentous stroke, the con artist accomplished something which took then President Obama eight years to accomplish. Specifically, granting ethics waivers to fourteen people.
For instance, someone who was a lobbyist for the oil industry has been appointed to be a special assistant to the president. On energy policy.
This is at odds to the con artist's illegal and unconstitutional executive order which, supposedly, put stringent rules on the ethics of political appointees. Needless to say those "stringent rules" went out the door on the first day when the white supremacist adviser Steve Bannon had daily communications with his former employer, the fake tabloid web site Breitbart.
Even worse for the con artist, he may have violated ethics rules by making the waivers retroactive.
So as the swamp fills at its most rapid pace in recent history, we can all rest soundly knowing the con artist has everything covered when it comes to ethics. He's using the biggest, thickest, heaviest blanket he can find to smother them. After all, if he has no ethics, why should anyone else?

“There is no such thing as a retroactive waiver,” Mr. Shaub said in an interview. “If you need a retroactive waiver, you have violated a rule.”
. . .
Mr. Shaub, the ethics monitor, said he was concerned that the media organization waiver, and a number of others made public on Wednesday, did not include dates, making it impossible to tell when they were issued.
“It leaves us unable to evaluate if the waiver was issued before or after you engaged in conduct that would otherwise be prohibited,” Mr. Shaub said.
