Representative Adam Schiff, the new chair of the House Intelligence Committee, has apparently been bringing on more staff as he performs a true and impartial investigation of the con artist's collusion with Russia. Those extra staff have formerly worked for the NSC (National Security Council) and so would have in depth knowledge of its operations and procedures.

Some of these people may have come from the current corrupt administration, but no one is saying if this is true. More than likely these people worked for previous administrations.

The con artist, understanding that people who may have worked for him would be able to reveal the numerous secrets he has given out and his many calls to his Russian handler, said in a tweet during his daily 60% "executive time" blocks:

"I hear other committee heads will do the same thing. Even stealing people who work at White House! A continuation of Witch Hunt!"

An administration official told reporters to "ask Adam Schiff what that means" when asked about the President's claim Democrats are "stealing people who work at White House."

A House Intelligence Committee aide responded, telling CNN the panel has hired individuals with experience on the NSC staff and that it would not discriminate about hiring individuals from the current administration.

It should be noted this administration, which routinely calls real news media and its personnel fake every time they publish the exact words of the con artist, asked these same fake people to do its work. Apparently these officials are incapable of figuring out how to contact representative Schiff or are falling back on tried and true sources of reporting to get answers.

As an aside, representative Devin Nunes, the previous chair of the committee, hired former National Security Council Middle East director Derek Harvey in September after he was dismissed by then-national security adviser H.R. McMaster.

For his part, representative Schiff has neither confirmed or denied these reports, but said the intelligence committee had a "long tradition of hiring out of the intelligence community, out of the National Security Council."

In one final jab at the coward, Schiff said:

"If the President is worried about our hiring any former administration people, maybe he should work on being a better employer,"

I can understand why the idea of meaningful oversight terrifies the President. Several of his close associates are going to jail, others await trial, and criminal investigations continue. We’re going to do our job and won’t be distracted or intimidated by threats or attacks.

Cabinet officials are confirmed with the advice and consent of the Senate because they are constitutional figures who must be devoted to the country and institutions they serve. They are not Trump's personal staff, beholden to no one but him, or to be discarded like a valet.

In private conversations, Trump has expressed satisfaction in having acting Cabinet members, saying interim leaders are more beholden to him. Shanahan’s extended try-out as Defsec may soon include forking over Pentagon cash to build POTUS’s border wall

(Plenty of publications noted tRump's comment about having "acting" appointees, not Senate approved and vetted officials.)

Responds to tRump's accusation of "stealing people who work at White House."
