Figuratively. At least we think so. When asked about deceased American Otto Warmbier's, whose bruised and bloodied body was turned over to his family after suffering at the hands of North Korea, and who later died at home, the con artist replied:

"I don't believe that he would have allowed that to happen, it just wasn't in his advantage to let that happen. Those prisons are rough, they're rough places and bad things happen, but I really don't think he was, I don't believe he knew about it," the president said.

He, of course, is none other than Kim Jong Un, the dictator of North Korea who is known to use all manners of torture and execution on his own people, including using anti-aircraft guns on his uncle.

These words are in stark contrast to what the con artist said a year ago:

"You are powerful witnesses to a menace that threatens our world, and your strength inspires us all," Trump said, addressing Warmbier's parents, during his 2018 State of the Union address. "Tonight, we pledge to honor Otto's memory with American resolve." He added in that same speech: "We need only look at the depraved character of the North Korean regime to understand the nature of the nuclear threat it could pose to America and our allies."

Apparently, sometime between his 2018 propaganda speech and yesterday, the con artist has had second thoughts and as he has repeatedly done with his Russian handler, believed only the words of a maniacal dictator, not American citizens.

And yet, the deplorables will worship at his feet for he only speaks the truth.

"They kidnapped Otto. They tortured him. They intentionally injured him."

A valuable American hostage inside NK borders, and he did not know ?

Not fucking likely.

They damaged his brain as much as possible.

Otto never emerged from his coma, to speak of what had happened to him.

22 years old.

What is likely, is that tRump is getting something out of this. Is tRump passing along messages from Putin to Kim Jong-un ? Americans are not allowed to examine what Kim Jong-un has said privately, between them. Just as we are not allowed to hear what tRump has said to Putin.

American journalist, Jamal Khashoggi suffered and died, too.

They cannot sell the story that the Saudi prince did not know.

Trump voters must be so pleased--especially the Evangelical "Christian" ones.

Do you think our country’s so innocent?

I would bring back waterboarding, and I'd bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.

—— President Trump

Unless we are going to go to war with North Korea over this, then we'll have to forgive and forget or allow it to be brushed aside. Take your pick. That's a big problem for people who need controversy in their lives and for those who need controversy for the sake of their careers, and for those who love to hate, like many on this board.

Let's not forget this guy Otto Warmbier went to North Korea, where any American not living in a fantasy land whose national anthem is Kumbaya My Lord knows better than to go there. I have as much sympathy for Otto Warmbier as I do a drunken driver who crashes their car into a telephone pole or someone killed while buying drugs.

Did Kim Jong Un know about him? I'd imagine so. Did he know about the severity of Otto's treatment? I doubt that Kim requested hourly updates about Otto's treatment during his captivity, but this is a Dictator who had his brother assassinated, so he doesn't care one way or the other.

I'd prefer Trump not to say, "I believe him," and describe this for what it was: Otto made a stupid mistake and he paid for it with a beyond reasonable price in today's civilized world, but it's not important enough for Trump to take issue with. If Trump was a career politician, maybe he would. He may still down the line, if it suddenly serves his purpose.

This isn't a political stance. This is pragmatic and common sense thinking. Had North Korea gone into China and taken Otto, that would be a different story, or if they had taken him off a boat in international waters, that would be something worth getting angry and more over, but Otto Warmbier went into North Korea and fucked up. End of story. Poor bastard.

P.S.
I don't have time to argue with you left-winged incels, hatemongers, racists, hypocrites, misogynists, cunts, and the rest of you crazies (everyone including you guys and gals knows who you are :D) who choose to deliberately not understand my post.

Till another four martini night, I'm out of here.

The Orange Nazi you worship feuds with anyone over anything. The list of people he's gotten into a bitch tweet war with are endless. You've written an unbelievable amount of dumb shit but this was really up there.

Suddenly the left isn't such a huge fan of the left?

Ok seriously....we need Trump to come out and support all sorts of socialism so we can watch all the socialist instantly go libertarian on things.

I figured they would be cheering their super progressive buddy Kim who is a fucking icon of the exact same political ideals they profess to support.

What's wrong lefties, the socialist just reeducated him, that's all.

Y'all lose your nerve for "progress"? :D

John Bolton, the man who once was ready to nuke North Korea at the drop of a hat, says his opinion on the murder of Otto Warmbier doesn't matter because the con artist believes the lies of dictator Kim Jong Un. That's all that matters.

Even the most virulent war mongers have abandoned anything resembling principles thanks to the dumbing down brought on by the con artist.
