The latest corruption scandal to embrace the con artist regime encompasses not only himself, but his demented progeny as well as his personal failed business. In a multi-page lawsuit, the con artist is charged with a multi-level marketing scam which “deliberately misled” consumers by using Trump’s image as a successful businessman to encourage consumers to buy into three get-rich-quick schemes, despite knowing they weren’t good investments as well as false advertising, fraud and negligent misrepresentation.
“This case connects the dots at the Trump Organization and involves systematic fraud that spanned more than a decade, involved multiple Trump businesses and caused tremendous harm to thousands of hardworking Americans,” the statement said.
As he has been wont to say, he loves the poorly educated, and boy did he take soak them for all he could. Between 2005 and 2015, Trump appeared regularly as a pitch man for one of the outfits, telecommunications reseller ACN, while insisting his backing was not “for any money,” the suit alleges.
But in fact, he was being rewarded handsomely for appearing at its events, in marketing materials and for promoting the company on “The Apprentice,” it charges.
The 160-page complaint alleges that Mr. Trump and his family received secret payments from three business entities in exchange for promoting them as legitimate opportunities, when in reality they were get-rich-quick schemes that harmed investors, many of whom were unsophisticated and struggling financially.
Needless to say, the con artist is claiming the lawsuit is fake. Just like the lawsuit he paid $25 million to settle for his fake "university".
