Con artist says to NK: No sanctions for you!

In another brilliant move to show what a great person he is, the con artist told the Treasury to fuck off with their new sanctions against North Korea. When asked why the sanctions were being undone when North Korea has resumed both its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program, the con artist responded, "I like him."

As difficult as it is to believe, this is not from The Onion. The Propaganda Minister herself said:

"President Trump likes Chairman Kim and he doesn’t think these sanctions will be necessary,"​

Which of course is a perfectly valid reason to not impose sanctions on a dictator who starves his people, puts them in "re-education camps", and has a known history of killing members of his family on a whim. Surely there must be more to this story.

Nope. Even John Bolton, widely known for his vitriolic hatred towards North Korea and its dictator family, agreed the sanctions were being rescinded. He even wagged his finger at the maritime community:

As Adam Mount, nuclear expert at the Federation of American Scientists said:

"The message this sends is unmistakable. After refusing to consider sanctions relief at Hanoi, Trump volunteers to loosen enforcement in order to preserve the talks," Mount said. "It shovels leverage to other side, assuring them their tactics could work."

"Reversing the designations will make it even more difficult for US diplomats to concentrate allies + partners on sanctions enforcement, especially at sea," he added.​

What a great negotiator. Give everything away at the drop of a hat.
