Not sure what else to add to the title. It says it all. After nearly two years of abject denial Russia did anything in the 2016 election, denying that they helped him win, denying the mountains of evidence from the intelligence community, and using the excuse Putin told him nothing went on, the con artist is now suddenly worried Russia may interfere in our elections. To help the Democrats.

I'm very concerned that Russia will be fighting very hard to have an impact on the upcoming Election. Based on the fact that no President has been tougher on Russia than me, they will be pushing very hard for the Democrats. They definitely don't want Trump!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 24, 2018

The Trump administration has leveled sanctions against Russia and expelled alleged spies working in the US on diplomatic cover, but Trump has faced criticism for offering little public criticism of Russian actions. Whereas Trump has fiercely criticized close US allies in recent months, he has offered little to no criticism of Russian actions around the world.

Instead, ahead of his summit with Putin, he blamed souring US-Russia relations on previous US administrations and the special counsel's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Pressed on the point during the news conference in Helsinki, Trump said both the US and Russia were to blame for the nadir in relations.

CYA for the primaries, carrot head.

This. He set up to claim election corruption if Clinton won the presidential election. He's now doing the same on the congressional midterms. The one sure thing is that nothing is going to be his fault.

This is ridiculous even for him. Each day he never fails to reset the bar to to the lowest standard ever.

It is fascinating to see.

It’s like the past, what is documented and verifiable, and the future doesn’t exist, only the moment.

Reminds me of when Clinton said, of Paul Ryan I think (?), “It takes Some brass to blame a man for something you did.”
