Neither Prince William or Prince Harry met with the con artist when he arrived for his first visit to our closest ally. In fact, both princes didn't merely not meet with the orange goon, they refused to do so.

Queen Elizabeth II was left alone to receive the Trumps at Windsor Castle Friday. According to a “well-placed source” quoted by the Times, the absence of the two princes during Trump’s visit “was a snub,” and they “simply refused to attend.”

However, the Times source said senior courtiers discussed concerns about the princes’ reluctance to participate. The Times also quotes a Whitehall official who said Trump’s time with the Queen was “kept to a bare minimum,” and that the royal family “were not as enthusiastic as they were when Obama came over.”

As if his gaffe of walking in front of the queen as if he were strolling on a golf course left any doubt why the two didn't want to meet to the buffoon.

I would have applauded if the queen had been otherwise occupied when Trump was in England. I would have applauded even if, lunch with the PM and a meeting with the queen already scheduled, they had stood him up after having let his Sun interview drop during the official dinner the night before and let him find his own way out of the country. But the queen has shown how game she was before. After all, she received Idi Amin, who was pretty much in the same pig sty as Trump is.

That said, I don't think a foreign head of a state not in the Commonwealth should accord her any more deference than a ninety-two-year woman head of state should be given, which is a lot, but doesn't include genuflecting or any other forms of subservience. She's not a monarch over the United States.

You obviously don't understand how the Monarchy works in Britain. The Monarch has no power, they are just figureheads. They are living representations of the state. As such they cannot be held personally responsible for the acts of the country. So just what are the evil things for which the royal family are personally responsible?

If you want to talk about British atrocities yes we've committed more than our fair share, but then again in the same time period so have the Americans.
The Donald is not on his own we have our own fascists as well. Some of them are even in the government.
