For all the talk about bringing jobs to the U.S., for all the bloviating about forcing companies to make products in the U.S., for all the talk about America first, it's amazing how little the con artist walks the walk.
For instance, at his Mar A Lago golf club in Florida, the con artist almost exclusively hires foreign workers. Specifically, women from Eastern Europe. His advertising for local, American, help is relegated to a three sentence ad in an obscure Miami-area newspaper.
As for himself and his family, it is well known they have their name brand products made in China and Mexico.
Now comes word the con artist has hired a Russian security firm to ostensibly protect the American embassy and other buildings in Russia because they were, "The only option available, to ensure security services continue, is via a commercial contract." The price of the contract is $2.8 million.
The excuse given for hiring a Russian firm given on an online posting:
The man who established the security agency was a former KGB spy and befriended Kim Philby after the British double-agent's defection to the Soviet Union in 1963. He also, conveniently, worked alongside former KGB spy Vladimir Putin.

It said the US government had contacted more than three US private security firms but had not found one "with the requisite licensing or desire to operate in-country".
"Due to the urgency of this requirement, the Department of State sought a firm with the requisite licensing and capacity to quickly stand up guard operations at all four US Mission Russia posts," it says.
"The number of firms that met this requirement limited the number of sources considered to one - Elite Security Services Holding Co."
