Everyone remembers the infamous tweet by the con artist to then president Obama regarding staying out of Syria:
Two years earlier, he had this to say about the Assad regime attacking its own people:
On Friday, the con artist announced the U.S. will be staying in Syria for the foreseeable future. President Trump has approved a new strategy for Syria that will indefinitely leave about 2,000 U.S. troops there, according to The Washington Post.
As for the upcoming assault by Syrian and Russian forces on Idlib, the last remaining stronghold of those opposed to the Assad regime, the con artist resorted to his six year-old way of speaking:
To summarize: stay of Syria because nothing good will come of it except spending billions of taxpayer dollars, but I'm going to do just that, and why isn't someone doing anything about Assad attacking his own people? As for me, I'll just wag my finger and say it's terrible.

Why is the UN condemning @Israel and doing nothing about Syria? What a disgrace.

Talk of a new U.S. strategy in Syria comes as the Trump administration is increasing its warnings ahead of a regime offensive to retake Idlib, the last major bastion of Syrian rebels. Russian warplanes have already started striking the area.
"If it's a slaughter, the world is going to get very, very angry, and the United States is going to get very angry, too,” Trump said Wednesday of Idlib.
