It is well known Paul Manafort, the con artist's former campaign manager, had very close, if not bedtime close, connections with Putin. He was Putin's right-hand man to put out the lies and distortions for why Ukraine should remain under the boot heel of Russia rather than embrace the freedom and openness of the West.
Of course Manafort lied about working hand-in-hand with Putin, which is why he was given the boot from the campaign because they didn't want that much obvious collusion to be seen.
As always, the truth comes out, and it has now been categorically shown not only did Manafort lie about his ties with Putin, he lied about owing millions to various Russians and Russian businesses. The records, which include details for numerous loans, were certified as accurate by an accounting firm as of December 2015, several months before Mr. Manafort joined the Trump campaign, and were filed with Cyprus government authorities in 2016.
To line everything up, at the time Manafort was campaign manager, he met with con artist junior and at least one Russian agent because they believed the Russians were going to provide information on Hillary Clinton. Con artist junior said it would be great to have this information released at a specific time (i.e. collusion).
Manafort came on the campaign because of his close ties with Putin, a man who had specifically ordered his intelligence agencies to do whatever it is they could to damage or defeat Hillary Clinton and instead install the con artist.
Manafort lied about his connections with Putin, lied about receiving payments for his work for Russia, deliberately tried to cover up these payments through multiple shell companies, and owed (still owes?) millions to various Russian entities.
Despite all this evidence, we're supposed to believe Manafort is a saint who never once had any connection with Russia, and would never in a million years collude with them to interfere in a U.S. election despite recorded conversations of Russian officials discussing that very topic AND how to use influence on the con artist's campaign staff to accomplish their goal.
