Computer wizards,,, or anyone else

Why is it that the first page of this BB is spread out, left to right, large enough to cover one and a half screens,,, but all the follow on pages are normal sized ( fits the screen w/o the scroll bar) as is each thread that I open?

Is this a new feature of Laurel's?

Answers, suggestions, comments?

Thank you for asking, CW. I don't know the answer, but I thought maybe I was seeing things, it is kind of late here. The main page is so big, I am having to scroll back & forth to check out who is posting. I hope you are having a good weekend, I should be in bed, but have the morning off tomorrow.

I refreshed the hell out've it now,,,I cleared my cache,,, I shut down the computer,,, still the same condition,,,

But, it's only the front page here,,,all the other boards are normal,,,

its because of Dirks Guruhood thread the ?!?!?!?! are so much that it makes it wider than it normally would be once it slips off the first page things will be fine

A very good and accurate theory it is BT. That thread title won't wrap because there's no spaces. The other columns are wrapped down as small as they will go as well.

The main page is set up in columns, so the whole page gets wide when this happens. Each post however, will wrap to the screen size. Only the one post that is wider than will fit the screen will need to be scrolled.

I noticed the same thing here. Just started today. I haven't changed any of my 'puter settings. Who knows?? I've never expected consistency out of anything technical!

I've noticed it happening prior to this, always with thread titles that have no spaces, so they refuse to wrap. Once, Puddles the Wonder Poodle was at fault, long word + long name = fucked up BB

So Dirk, ya'll fucked up the BB front page. I'd spank ya, but you'd like it.
