You might try a program called Jet Audio. I know it can play RA files and it might let you screen cap it. For downloading, try right click and "save to disk".

ive tried the "save target as" option but it gives me an error.ill check out that program though :)

irfanview and paintshop pro both have screen capture functions that will often work when print-screen won't. Both allow for selecting a part of the screen for caturing as well.

irfanview is freeware and can be obtained at www.irfanview.com or at most of the download sites.

Paintshop Pro is available in a 30 day trial version from www.jasc.com -- the registered version lists for $125, but it can be obtained for less at a computer store like CompUSA or an office supply store, like OfficeMax. JASC.com has a store locator to help you find a store in your area that has the full package -- including documentation in book format instead of a disk file.

hey harold.i have photoshop 7 and paint shop pro 8 but i usually use photoshop and am not to familar with PSP8 would you happen to know where the option is?

:EDIT:i found the option and tried it but it also wouldnt work.i use a special program called virtual dub usually but it wont work with real player media.

I stayed with PSP 6.01 because I didn't need most of the "enhancements" of versions 7 and 8. In version 6, the capture function has a pull down menu of it's own -- labeled "capture," oddly enough. :D

Other progrms I've got, including irfanview, hide the capture function under the Edit menu or the Options Menu.

The Help menu is your friend; it will tell you if a program has a capture function and how to use it if it does.

read the second part of my above post :)

I think you're stuck unless you can find something other than RealPlayer that can play.RAM files. I checked irfanview's possible file associations, but RAM files aren't on it. :(

The link you posted earlier only saves a pointer to a streaming video URL So I'm not sure that even finding a different player is going to help -- with streaming video, you never actually have the images stored on your system where you can find them with another program.

yeah that was the problem i knew it was a streaming format but couldnt do anything luckily a freind gave me some info on a program that can download streaming media called Real7ime Converter very nice little program :) thanks for the help.
