When I visit just about any page on the web a little box pops up saying: "Internet Explorer Script Error". It then defines the error and asks: "Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?" to which I usually answer 'No' and the page then continues to open. My question is why does this keep happening and is there any way to make it stop. Please don't get to technical with your answers--I'm on AOL because it's "easy to use.":)

reinstalling IE would fix it or getting a newer version ... cant say more without knowing more about what pages it happens on and what IE version your running

Am on AOL also. Think it's just one of the quirks of AOL,s system.

I use AOL 5. AOL 6 was just too resource hungry. I uninstalled it.

IE 5 was originally bundled with the machine.
I've just upgraded to IE 5.5. Worth it just for Movie Player, which is a big improvement on Real Player.

But from what I understand , AOL uses it's own dedicated software that does away with the need for Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.

But ********** does cause problems on my machine.
