Every time I open a new window, no matter what program I'm using, it always pops up as a small window near the top of the screen. What I want to know is; how do I set the default as full screen instead of a small window?

Yes, I'd like to know too, it's a pain in Word when that happens.

Try opening up whatever program you want to be full screen all the time, maximize it, then close it straight away without doing anything else. Hopefully the next time you open something with it it'll be full screen for you.

Tell it to open up as a full size window or you are going to shove it out the window and buy an abacus.

Yes, but if that doesn't work, take the small window and stretch it out by dragging the edges of the window to full size. Then hit the maximize square thing, then shut the window immediately. It has to be done with the first small window you have open, so shut all the others before you try this.

(After my kids use my PC this happens a lot to mine)
