Ok, when I have a program running, eg a game. And it fills the whole computer screen, my bottom tool bar is not showing or will not pop up when then the mouse is taken low or the start button will not show. How can I down size the program screen without turning off the program to to get my desk top to do other things?????

Thanks for the help. :)

you can hit alt-tab to cycle between open screens.

Do you still have your top browser, and can you see the View button?

hit the "windows key" it is in between the "alt" and "ctrl" on the left of most keyboards

Hmm...I'm sorry, I always have to shut down when I lose my browser in that way...I'll let the others assist you. Good Luck!:)

Some games will disable all keyboard commands except the ones that operate that game. Some take over the video card completely, so nothing but the game can appear until the game is quit.

Have you tried Alt + R or Alt + N? Have you tried setting your taskbar to Always On Top and disabled Auto Hide?

Pushing the windows button did not work, but the Alt-tab did. :)

Phrodeau, I have "Always On Top and disabled Auto Hide" set that way now. :)

Thanks everyone. :D

You might try ALT-Enter when youhave a game that takes over the screen like that -- both of the games I have that do that use alt-enter to switch between full-screen and "normal" modes.
