I use iPhoto Plus, but it won't let me see .gif
Is there anyway to change all the gifs to jpg? Without having to go one by one?

Or is there a way to change iPhoto Plus so that I can see gifs?

I hate to sound like a company rep for JASC software, but...

PaintShop Pro has a batch conversion mode, from any of the hundreds of image formats it can read to almost all of the formats it can read. (Kodak PhotoCD format is the only one I know of it can't write to.)

Of course if you had PSP you wouldn't need iPhoto Plus. :p

Go to the file menu and under "open" there should be a pull down menu that defaults to JPeG. You should have at least BMP and GIF as alternate formats and probably TIFF as well.

WH, I had PSP. The trial version that was supposed to be 30-60 days, it lasted 4 then locked me out!

I have it as all file formats, there's no gif anywhere! :(

Try using MS Paint (which comes with all versions of windows). It can read GIF, JPG and BMP formats and has a "save as" function that will convert from one format to another.

I'm not sure why the trial version of PSP timed out after four days. I've never figured out how to defeat the marker they leave behind to disable any newer trial version either. You might try e-mailing JASC's support section and see if they can explain why it timed out so soon. (I tried an earlier version several years ago that had timed out before I even downloaded it but they've changed the timeout coding since then.)

Hello :)

Rather than using a large program to perform a basic task, I recommend IrfanView which is capable of the task you want. It only takes up about 600k, and it will save in a wide variety of formats. Its at http://www.irfanview.com/

Try another utility:

On this link are a number of image editing tools, some shareware, a couple freeware, demos, etc.

This particular link is to a freeware program which sounds powerful but doesn't give enough specifics about file formats. But for the price, it might be worth the download and trial.

Good luck.
