I have had this image in my head for about two weeks now. This happens to me every now and again with words. When I sit down to put them on paper I always come up with something wonderful that people refer to as poetry. But, dang!, I'm not an artist! I can't even draw stick people worth a damn!

So, I was wondering.... Is there a way that I might be able to find a pic (let's say.. a tasteful erotic pic of a naked lady) and add other images to the figure and possibly come up with the image I have in my head? Is it hard? Do i need an expensive imaging proggy?

If anyone is interested, I can describe the image I see and maybe you can tell me how I can create it?

Many of the image processing programs that are bundled with scanners and cameras are csapable of doing what you want.

Paint Shop Pro (from www.jasc.com ) can do what you want as well.

PhotoShop and PhotoDeluxe from Adobe software are memory hogs, but they are often bundled with scanners or cameras so they're readily available to most people.


I'm not sure if iFanview does compositing and layering or how well it does them, but it is freeware, and a very useful program for image management.

It depends on what you consider an "expensive imaging proggy" but the most expensive of the ones I've mentioned is in the $125 to $150 price range -- Adobe PhotoShop came with my $80 scanner and I got a scanner that can scan negatives too.

I'm gonna check out some of the things you've suggested. I used to mess around with psp3 but they keep upgrading so fast that i couldn't keep up with all the new stuff they were adding haha

i guess the hard part is gonna be finding the images i wanna merge...

I've got PSP 6.0 and have no intention of upgrading. This version does what Iwant, how I want, and doesn't have all the extras added in version 7.0 and later that I don't need.
