My computer crashed. The problem would cost more to fix than the old computer is worth.
I bought a new eMachine desktop. It won't connect to the Internet. I call support. They must have a serial number, which isn't on the machine. I get a serial number from the store and another from the box in which the computer came. They then tell me that the serial number is for a monitor. I ask which serial number? They can't answer the question. They then refer me to a web site. I point out that I can't connect to the web site since that's my problem.
I'm billing them for my time. If you want to buy an eMachine, I would suggest that there's a do-it-yourself root canal kit available in the 'Net. It's cheaper and lots more fun.
