Anyone want to keep me company? Prefer clean, intelligent chat since I'm at work...though wouldn't mind flirting a little. Just bored out of my mind.

I would imagine that if I understood the reason behind the name I would understand the person a bit better as well. Could be wrong though... ;}

Touche!! Well..let's see what we can get from the definitions....

Esoteric -- intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest.

Pixie -- a supernatural being in folklore and children's stories, typically portrayed as small and humanlike in form, with pointed ears and a pointed hat, and mischievous in character.

They kind of play on each other... ;)

Indeed! Makes sense! And I've always associated the word esoteric with mysticism or magic or the occult {not a negative connotation) and pixies with fantasy and mythical beings...

So I'm picturing a mischievous Tinkerbell sans pointy green hat. Which I'm sure is all sorts of incorrect...

So, why did you choose this as your screen name? Do you have qualities inherent in a mischievous fairy?

Excellent segue! Expel some dust and tell me about the fairy... Your post said you were at work. What do you do? Is it what you want to do? You like to write, it seems from your bio...

I sell barns and cabins for a living. It's pretty boring as far as a job going..but it could be worse..I could be getting yelled at all the time.

Interesting... Pre-fabricated I assume? Or semi-custom?

And I sense a more rural locale for this pixie as there tends not to be a great need for barns and cabins in urban areas.

What do you do when you're not in barns and cabins? What does the pixie enjoy for fun?

I'm a country fairy in truth....I like my barns and the animals that come with them. ;)

Pre-fabricated of course....people pay out the wazoo for the shell of a building.

I can imagine! I once did work for a guy who was changing his wife's 10,000+ square foot horse barn into a giant man-cave. He kept all of his hot rods and motorcycles in there. My buddy and I installed the 40 seat theater. Crazy.

So, country pixie - being in a suburb of Denver, I'm now picturing a fairy in a cowboy hat - I take it you enjoy the course try lifestyle?

Also, would you prefer a conversation by PM? Or here in the chat? I'm new here so don't really get the etiquette quite yet...
