"A top communist defector is warning of an unprecedented “alliance” between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party, reflected in the CPUSA’s endorsement of Barack Obama for president in 2008 and the party’s continued support for Democratic Party policies..."

“The Democratic Party has become dangerously infected with the Marxism virus. I recognize the symptoms because I once lived through them, and I believe it is my obligation as an American citizen to help the conservative movement to prevent any further spread of Marxism in my adopted country.”

Hey Koala, are you ready with your Mossberg for when Orf pops up?

It's no news that the CPUSA endorses Obama. So much the better for the CPUSA, none the worse for Obama. Tell me when the White Nationalists endorse Romney or Paul or Johnson and we'll have some relevant news.

Twinkies are on sale at Kroger's:D

Ion Pacepa is still alive?

His NRO stuff is really good.

His book is only $28.95. Be sure to support capitalism and buy a few copies for your anti-Obama friends.

"I have no need to run for President anymore. The Democratic Party has already adopted my platform." - Norman Thomas, frequent Socialist candidate for President

Evidently, that's how the Communists feel these days as well.

Knew it all along, the Communist Party USA platform of 1956 is about identical to the present Democrat Party Platform in central control and purpose. The Communist foothold our fathers feared is manifest in today's Democrat Party.

"Our fathers?"

I see. So all human beings who did not have fathers are exempt?

Have you read Sean Renaud's sigline recently?

You mean your brother's sig line. Welcome back, you haven't been posting much lately. Neither has merc, glad to see you two active again.:D

vetteman's Dad must have been one of those 1950s Birchers who were convinced Ike was a Commie.

Speaking as a former Bircher, let me just say....they still believe that Ike was at least sympathetic or co-operative with the Soviets. It should be noted that Ike was his own worst enemy at times when it came to discouraging this belief, as with Operation Keelhaul. Do I think that Ike was a Soviet agent? No. He was just a bit too eager to cut deals with the Soviets during and after the war.

That being said, Ike wasn't all bad. He did warn, correctly, of the dangers of having the military-industrial complex have too much say in the government. He wasn't a Communist, just a Dewey Republican. Certainly not a conservative, but that goes without saying.
