...just the other day, Communist China declared that they have demarcated an air defence identification zone (ADIZ) which encompasses a large area of the East China Sea, including islands that Japan nationalized in 2012 and territory that Taiwan and South Korea claim as their own; Japan has also previously declared their own ADIZ over some of the very same area Communist China has just claimed as their own.
In an April 2013 defense white paper, the military of Communist China - the People's Liberation Army (PLA) - described Japan as "making trouble" in the area and notes that America's obvious military pivot to Asia has created regional tension...
...so, just as obviously, this new ADIZ, in part at least, is to address those concerns. The Communist Chinese have proclaimed that all aircraft intending to enter the ADIZ's airspace must file flight plans and identify themselves, or face "defensive emergency measures". The USSA, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea denounced Communist China's ADIZ declaration as soon as it was voiced.
And then, just to further that point, two American B52s flew into and through Communist China's new ADIZ without regard to Communist Chinese orders...
...the American military then announced that they will continue to do so at their will, regardless of any action the Communist Chinese react with; Communist China said nothing.
Shortly thereafter, both Japan and South Korea flew military missions through the new ADIZ without incident...
...and now the Communist Chinese have deployed several jet fighters and an early warning aircraft to conduct routine patrols in the new ADIZ, "as a defensive measure".
A Red line seems to have been drawn in the sea this time...
