Abduction Ch. 15 by Ada Stuart Sci-Fi & Fantasy

The final chapter of a series, the author paints a fascinating sci-fi world that comes across well. I didn't feel lost coming in on the last chapter, although I'm sure the emotions would have hit me even stronger if I had read the entire story. The hologram angle is fascinating, and the romance is sweet - Highly recommended.

WOW, what a wonderful review!!! I'm completely gobsmacked....

Thank you so much, Darkniciad!!! You've really saved my day and given me the inspiration to continue writing.

Thank you, thank you....

I'm incapable of doing reviews today. I'm in a shitload of pain and my mind is not clear enough to read and give a just appreciation of anything.

I'm sorry. :(

*hugs* Get well soon Lady C. :rose:

You're very welcome :) I saw that one comment on the story, and if that is what was getting you down... :p Don't worry about it! You can't please everyone, and your story is excellent. I hope I'll have time to go back and read the rest of the series so I know everything that led up to the ending :D

I reviewed a previous chapter of the series, and believe me... :D

some metaphors for Lady Cibelle....

L.C., I'm sorry to hear you are in obvious pain. Being no stranger to pain this year...I needed to be on morphine for a time....here's a list of some metaphors that remind me of you. Feel better soon!!!

Metaphors for Lady Cibelle:

An exquisite, half opened flower
a delicate seashell washed up on the beach
the twinkle in a baby's eye
autumn leaves reflected in a lake
friends shaking hands
lovers kissing
the world at peace

Thanks for your greatness,

Sack  :rose:

As a reader and writer (but not reviewer) let me add my wishes...Take all the time you need to get well! :rose:
Your reviews are appreciated!

Gosh guys.....I don't know what to say.

Thank you, thank you. Pain has been a constant companion of mine for the past couple of weeks and today wasn't much different but I felt really bad for not doing my reviews.

Thank you all for all your good wishes and nice words. You all are simply THE BEST :rose: and I'm grateful to have you!

From one chronic pain sufferer to another, I send you all the good and healing thoughts I can. No one should have to deal with the kind of debilitating pain that back problems can cause. You are in my prayers, LadyC.

Oh well, I must admit I was a bit put out by the comment, especially since I'm currently working on a sequel to this story. Makes you think "why do I bother" and all that.

Anyway, thank you both for cheering me up!!! You make me blush with gratitute here.... (and I'm making a mess of the english language - again - sorry, folks, english is not my first language...)

Our pleasure (The snake likes it too). :)

Laresa's World Ch. 08: Dolph is Deathlynx's contribution to the chain. I like this series (and kudos to RedHairedandFriendly for the idea) because once you understand the premise of Laresa as a genie, these stories can be read independently of one another or together. This chapter sort of asks, what would happen if a Gordon Gekko type(character 80's "Wall Street") got a hold of a magic genie? What does the man who have everything ask for? This one is just masterfully done! Extremely well-written, the dialogue is snappy and clever, and the wonderful twist at the end made me smile with glee. Kudos do you, Deathlynx, you've made a fine contribution to this chain!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I've enjoyed working on the chain so much and am looking forward to all of the (hopefully many) chapters to come...

I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter in particular...I wanted to add this side of genies into her personality...It's not all happy and submissive...she can twist and turn wishes to her desires if she wants :D

You're welcome... it was a pleasure to read! (well, so to speak... :) )

Thanks for the kudos Selena. :rose::) Everyone has done such a great job on this and keeping up with details for her and the rules, as well as adding other things as the story progresses, it is a blast to write and I look forward to more too. :D

I could if no one else wants to do it. My life has slowed down a lot since Mom is now getting some of her therapy at home.

Aww thanks for the mention, Aurora. This story is the beginning of a novel I'm working on. It's very biographical. This story is the Peface and stands alone as a story on it's own.

You are always kind, my friend

JJ

You say to go over to those stupid review. I go there and find my story listed with no review. You are a piece of work. Some of us wonder just who you are trying to fool. You are such an arrogant phony.

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXX,

I'm sorry you feel that way. As I explained in my post, I don't have time to give full reviews today. I sent a message out to everyone whose story was linked so they would know. I understand that you put a lot of time and effort into your work, and because of that I thought a link in the review thread was better than not featuring the story at all. I hope that the link will give you plenty of reads to make up for the missed review.
