Commentary?

I've noticed something about CHYOO 2 that I don't think has been brought up yet, and which may not even be an issue.

On CHYOO 1, when I would have threads approved, I would usually get commentary back with them in the notes section, something like "Thanks for the thread!" or "I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this." Sometimes I would get no commentary, but since etiquette really only demands that for rejects, it never bugged me.

However, since the advent of CHYOO 2, I never see any commentary on approved threads (I haven't had any rejects yet). That doesn't bother me so much as the idea that others are not seeing the notes that I send to them. Has anyone else observed this? Can anyone whose threads I've approved since CHYOO 2 confirm or deny having received my comments? It seems a shame that CHYOO no longer allows an editor to say "Thank You" and provide an instant review or suggestions.

Having never written anything for you Gystex, I have obviously never gotten any feedback from you in that way. I do know where the author's comments appear though, but you only get to see them if you add a new thread branching from the one you've approved.

Fix?

The real question is will this ever get fixed, and does anyone who might fix it even know about the problem?

Probably not because if they've altered it so that is how the comments are shown, that must be what they think is the best way to show them. I doubt it will be fixed because they more than likely don''t consider it a problem.
