There was a move called Tomcats some dude couldn't pay his casino debt and had to swindle an old friend to win a life long bet they made. During those adventures one of his friends a chubby Dentist or Doctor (I can't remember) would see silhouettes of his wife with another woman having sex. He would run and soon as he removed the curtain what appeared to be sexual would be something innocent.

For instance at home the silhouettes (of his wife and maid) appeared as if the made was rubbing his wife's breasts. He'd run and fling the open the shower door and the two would be scrubbing the shower silly things like that.

I thought it would be cool to see some stories where a husband notices strange behavior from his wife, researches infidelity, comes across all the stories and scenarios. The more he reads them the more he starts thinking well maybe she is.

He could do the spy thing and get caught.
Sneak into the house and set the home alarm off by accident.
Follow her around and when something happens he starts following the wrong car even though it looks like the one his wife is driving.
The spy gear could be delivered at the wrong time and give his operation away.

In short his imagination getting the better of him and the wife ending up fucking some sense back into him and never cheating. Maybe a three some if they're up for it.

This is actually a great idea. It would need a deft hand to get the comedic tone right.

I seem to recall some not-so-funny version in a well-rated LW story. Guy reads LW on LIT too much and is sure his wife shows giveaway signs of cheating. He goes surveillance-nutz trying to catch her, and fails, but his paranoia severely strains their marriage. So she DOES take a lover, right after he quits trying to catch her. Tragedy ensues IIRC.
