Come together...

Come together... or maybe cum together?

I've noticed that we haven't all been getting along lately (I'm probably as guilty as anybody).. But I think it's time to do something fun. Back in the day we wrote Chain Stories and stuff... Does anyone have any ideas that have been welling up inside them? We need something that will bring the entire BB together under one common goal... or something like that... maybe I'm being to profound... how about some thoughts from others?...

come together... right now... over me!!!

that's not my suggestion for bringing about worldpeace btw although i guess it would distract them so long theyll forget what they're even fighting about. ;) you just reminded me of that beatles song hs writer. i love singing that song. *jenny*

I GOT IT, I GOT IT, AND I WANT TO GIVE TO YOU ALL.

I had this idea swimming in my head for a while, HSWriter. How about a segment of Literotica that we name, "DEAR DIARY". Everyone who chose to participate can submit a story to it in the form of a diary or journal entry. Because of the possibility of late postings, I would suggest that the submissions do not include sequel of previous posts. That is, there should not be a Part 1, Part 2, etc. More than one person may end up submitting the same part and only one with be posted, thereby creating a little anemosity in the BB.

JD, great idea... We could possibly do it like the Chain Stories before... whereas authors would sign up to do a chapter then an order is drawn, then each author's part must follow that of the author before them.

Any other suggestions or additions to this one? Objections even?

I like that idea also, especially since my computer had a massive stroke a week before my chapter of teh Maltese Fuckin' was supposed to go up.

::sigh::

Plus the Diary idea is kind of different. Details!! Would we all be telling a different chapter in the life of one person? Or just random diary entries of different people? Or as ourselves?

What would be the preference of everyone? I think it would be neat to take on the life of one person... It is these kinds of things that bring out real raw writing talent..

Hmm Angel. Well I never got to write my chapter of the Maltese Fuckin' as well. I think it quietly died.

But I'm up for another author come together. And see where we can take it this time.
The diary thing dont sound bad at all.

Something like the "Daisy Train Diaries" or something LOL.
Hell I'm in.

A diary sounds great. Random people would be fun, my first thought was to post as other Lit posters but that has the possibility to turn nasty quick.

If we choose to all write one person, signing up for turns is a good idea, well that seems like a good idea either way.

I myself like the single person, with each writer doing a day's entry.

But would it be a male or a female? Ooh ooh ooh!

idea!

two seperate diaries. One from the perspective of a female one from a male. (just to be fair to those who find it difficult to do the part of the opposite sex) Anyway, the diaries don't have to be completely about each other, but they will in some way interact sexually or something. (Along with other sexual partners as well if the writers wish)

So there would be two entries for the same day posted together. One from the male character, one from the female.

Just an Idea.

I think that it would be interesting to have it about only one person.. male or female, writing about the other sex is a challenge, but a challenge can be fun sometimes...

True.

If it ended up being a male, I'd just have to harass the men around here to describe what it felt like to get a blow job hehee.

But then...how would we choose male or female? Poll?
I could set one up offsite but that might be too much of a pain in the ass for a story.

Of course Laurel has to come give us all HER opinion ....

LAUREL!!!!!!!!!!!!

All great ideas... but...

What about everyone else from way back when? DCL? .. come on guys, I know you're out there... and Laurel? Where'd ya go dear?

NOT QUITE IT, HSW..

You seem to have misunderstood. What I suggested is that each submission would be different. Diffierent person, different act, different place, etc. (To understand clearly, go to myfirsttime.com). Here is why I am not too keen on the idea of each story following the previous one. Let's say that someone writes a diary passage of the character's first time having sex. Someone may submit a story to follow it. But unfortunately, it may take from one week to one month for that story to be published. Before long, several other people has submitted Part 2 of that one story. It may cause conflict and alot of writers will chose not to participate anymore. In the website that I suggested above, each story in that site is totally different then the previous. Different writer, different character, different situation, everything different.

I say let's go with different entries of different people, regardless of the gender of the character.

Actually, I was considering keeping it simple with "DEAR DIARY...."or "The Lit Journal". Just like the website, myfirsttime.com. Just simple and self explanatory.

THANKING YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT

I am glad that you all liked that idea. Like I mentioned in the first post, this was an idea that I had for sometime and considered asking Laurel if we could began something like that. HSWriter, I'm glad that I could help you with this new Millinium Project and by all means, count me in on it.

Well, as soon as we hear from Laurel on this one, we can get down to it...

Sounds good to me, though you kids will have to set it up. One of you folks get a concept down and email it to me. Once we got that, anyone interested in being a part of this chain story should email me personally saying, "Hey, I want to be a part of that Dear Diary chain dealie". You all set a deadline for when interested authors must email me. Then I'll take the names an assign a random order. There'll be 2-3 days between each chapter - so the first person writes their chapter, then #2 reads that and writes something to go along with #1 (or she/he writes something in advance and then tailors it to match the first chapter later). We already have a category titled "Chain Stories" built into the script. One writer could submit their bit through their login on site, then email me and say, "Hey, I submitted my chapter under my name Such-and Such." I'll post that piece, and email the next person in line so that they can go read the piece and get theirs ready. When they've submitted their piece into the site, they email me and the process continues. Sound cool?

GOOD LUCK ALL

I wish all of the participants the greatest of luck with that concept and I'm glad that I could help. However, I'm not sure if I could count myself in. I'm not too sure how I would be able to follow up someone else's idea and story with my own sequel. That wasn't my original idea. I suggested individual entries and stories, not chain style. Don't misunderstand, I am not raining on your parade folks. But good luck anyway.
