I don't see a way to put this in the Site News forum, because it isn't a problem that needs fixing, so I'll put this here.

I’ve seen something different on the site, roughly in the last week. In the New Stories list, story titles now show in a lighter shade of blue than before, and when I click on a title and then return to the list, the title shows in a darker shade of blue. This could be a useful feature for someone searching the huge inventory on Lit (to get back to what one clicked on earlier), but I’ve seen no announcement from Lit about it being added, or beta-tested. Maybe it was there all along, and only now my browser (Firefox) caught it through an update?

The difference it not a function of Lit, but of your browser, a link will be displayed differently once you have clicked on it. The title of a story on Lit. is nothing but a link.

Indeed. Which is why I'm confused about it. Not seeing this on Lit, just picked a few random stories to click on from the New page. Not on Safari on my iPad (as I posted above) nor on Chrome on laptop (just testing now.) Yet I see it with other links outside of Lit.

This can be controlled using the CSS (or HTML) for the page, 'visited', 'hover' and 'active' links can all be differentiated from the default color.

Or, they've chosen very close colors and my eyes just can't pick up the differences.

Well, it looks like Lit. is overriding the normal operation for a link. In my browser - a chromium variant called Brave, the link remains the same color on the entire story side. I do know that on the BB side the links change as they normally would.
