College Girl Going To NYC

I thought I should post on here to try to get myself into some things that I probably shouldn't. I'll be moving into the city in the fall for college, I only live an hour up the hudson anyways. West Point anyone, I live in the small town next to it... well I hope to get to know some more people in NYC! Maybe we can hook up or something, show me around some places?

Hi Alliecat. Im not from NYC, more your neighbor...(Newburgh, NY). Just thought Id say hello. Oh, BTW, I know alittle bout the city, have a few maps including a subway map. Id be more than happy to share any info you might need.

Not from NYC and not around the NYC area at the moment. But I love this city to death. I've actually visited the place too many times. I'm actually going up pretty soon to take a nice time off from my doing nothing down in Georgia.

I guess that once you are there you'd find a whole bunch of resources. I'd say TimeOut magazine or Village Voice to start out. And I guess that your buddies in college will drag you around too.

But I was talking with this homeless man, WITH my friend that I had made, for like an hour about poltics. He as a good homeless man. Everyone up here is like no don't do that, and I'm like they deserve to be talked to... does this have anything to do with what you are talking about?

And answer to your question, I'm not so sure on that chat you mentioned. I know of some friends who would engage in conversation with anyone, homeless or not. It seems you have a good heart there my dear. And everyone has an voice to be heard. Just be careful that's all. I mean it is NYC. Oh by the way did you get my PM? Wait did I ever PM you?
