So I am driving yesterday listening to sports talk and they are interviewing Rick Mangino about his new job as KU's head football coach. He was so full of optimism talking about team this, team that, let them choose new uniforms, told 'em, He chose them, etc., etc. etc. Even went so far as to say, we are not at the level of the top 2 or 3 teams, but we can beat pretty much anyone else...

He has to be delusional. I mean at Oklahoma, he played Kansas. I think he used the practice squad...



I can't wait for mid-season and the reality of KU football to sink into this guy. It could be one of the biggest mood swings in sports history.

Sorry about Notre Dame. They just do not seem to have the program anymore. Are they in a conference now? It seems to be the only way to get rated now, to be in a strong conference.


They should combine the two programs. Hell the state ain't that big anyway.

Who's your number one this year? One of those Florida Teams again? Big XII got pretty hammered this time around.
