And your final 4 is?

Ohio State
USC
FSU
Ok. State (gotta have a dark horse and left out SEC)

Predictions:
Some will win. Some will lose. Some will cheat. Some will die. Much will be wagered. Much will be drunk and swallowed. Much bandwidth will be wasted. I'll be occupied elsewhere.

Bama
Buckeyes
Washington
Seminoles

If I had to pick a dark horse, Louisville.

I like it - Wash might qualify in some circles as a dark horse, do you went above and beyond. Looking forward to the FSU - Bama clash and the OU at Ohio State game.

Florida State
USC
Wisconsin (best schedule odds-wise ever)
University of Georgia (of course)

Going with the obvious:

Florida State
Alabama
USC
Winner of Ohio State/Oklahoma

Something will happen to mess this up. In particular, I'm not sure this isn't the year Bama is left out of the playoff. An early loss to Florida State would eliminate any margin for error, and they typically do lose at least one game inside the SEC.

USC dodged a bullet against Texas. But sometimes it takes a close call game like that.

The SEC is a dumpster fire other than BAMA. MSU on the rise but pretty much disarray other than that.

Okie State is looking strong - will get a little better test this weekend with TCU (maybe).

Clemson blew Louisville doors off. Looked strong and QB played well enough to get them back to the final 4 party.

Those bold predictions made a month ago don't really look all that bad, though some teams need help now.
It's interesting to me how many chose Florida State before the game with Alabama. Wishful thinking, maybe.
Anyway, FSU isn't out of it, but three weeks in it sure looks like Clemson is a beast, especially on defense.
Over-rated: The Big 10 and the SEC without Alabama; USC QB Sam Darnold, Wyoming QB Josh Allen.
Under-rated: The ACC. Seriously.
My final four: Alabama, Clemson, USC and OU, seeded in that order.
And I think Clemson can beat Alabama again for the title. That will be another awesome game.

Darnold didn't play that well the other night but because of the comeback and win in OT he is getting lots of props now. If you watched the full game he wasn't all that effective versus what was an average Tx defense (at best) coming into the game. With that said, Texas did turn it up a notch so kudos to them. SHould have won outright after going ahead in regulation.

Clemson defense is really strong.

The OU v Okie State game is looming as HUGE - game has historically been played last game of the year but with B12 going to conf championship game it was moved earlier so no chance of a back to back weekend replay. That appears to have been very good foresight!

I think you've pegged the Big 12 accurately, and I think OU will win both games. Mason Rudolph may have more upside in the NFL, but Baker Mayfield is a great college QB.

People are still talking about the game last year - Gundy was very conservative and played more not to lose than his normal wide open style. Will be fun to see how they shake out. TCU @ OSU this weekend could be marginally interesting because of Patterson. However, OSU has owned TCU of late so not sure that will change Saturday.
