College Football Playoffs

What a pretty graphic! You must've stayed up all night creating that!

Who do you like in the semifinals?

I'm hoping for an Fla vs Bama final, who doesnt want to see Jameis Winston play? or Nick Saban lose?

I am thinking we'll see Alabama vs. Oregon for the championship, with Oregon prevailing.

Imo, no way FSU beats Oregon.. and no way OSU beats Bama.

I call Bama/Oregon final.. and as much as I bleed Crimson, I wonder what Mariotta would do faced against our defense. Their defense blows IMO, so that isn't any concern to me.

If Bama holds Mariotta a bit, I don't see them running on us... and I do not see them stopping Sims/Yeldon/Henry-and the best wide receiver in college ball, Amari Cooper. ..and I predict another Bama national championship.

ROLL TIDE.

That pretty much sums it up.

Power trumps speed.

Bama vs Oregon. Im pulling for Bama. Oregon can win if they take deep shots downfield. Bama has been known to let big plays happen. But i cant see Bama losing too good all around

Bama has some good speed too.... our pursuit, especially to the outside is amazing. It's really hard to get out on the edges and run.

The only thing that concerns me is being picked apart by a really good quarterback. We don't have a great pass rush, and our DBs are suspect too. I saw Oregon beat I think it was Arizona, in the rain.. and I really wasn't impressed with Oregon.. our defense is way better than anything Oregon has seen, I believe..

I think that is the most intriguing matchup tho.. and would probably be a good game.

Yeah, it was really frustrating watching that this year.. Saban has a month of working on it and hopefully they've gotten that out of their system.

The quick start of OSU or Oregon is something Bama needs to stave off... typically we can wear the other team down with our depth..

and for all those haters giving Saban crap for hiring Lane Kiffin... he's made them all look like idiots...lol

Bama definitely has good speed and the power that the Ducks lack. Add that to Oregon's offensive line woes and if you give Saban a month to prepare for any matchup he'll find a way to exploit it.

The Mizzou game i wanted to break the TV. Those bombs hurt us, still blew them.out but still. Will be interesting to see is Saban goes small on defense line to handle the large volume of plays ORE runs without letting the defense sub. Cooper is a matchup problem and Sims can be careless but also can repsond like in the Aurburn game.

FSU doesn't lose, dude.....they never lose.

That is what they have all been saying all year, but pretty soon FSU will be 32-0. Noe that all the outside crap is off of Winston, watch him go! See what he did when his whole life, his whole career was hanging in the balance, HUH. Watch him now,he'll look like last year.

I believe Oregon just lost one of their cornerbacks, which isn't necessarily the best news for a team facing Jameis "The Tallahassee Police Said I Had Consent, So Who Am I To Argue" Winston.

I'm not sure the Buckeyes can score enough to hang with Alabama, but considering everything, they did well to get this far.

Please, Dear Eight Pound, Six Ounce, Newborn Baby Jesus, in your golden, fleece diapers, with your curled-up, fat, balled-up little fists pawin' at the air...

Give us an Oregon Ducks National Championship.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Ohio State's quarterback does against Alabama. Only his second start, so it's a tough assignment, but he played well first time out. Big, strong, great arm, can run. May make things closer than it might appear, although Alabama has to be favored.

I wonder how long it will take them to expand the playoffs to 8 teams.

Before the decade is out. I think 8 is a suitable number, though I could see them going even farther eventually, like they already do with the smaller schools.

The FCS does 24, with a first round bye for 8 seeded teams, mostly due to the autobids from conference champions. Some autobid conferences have weak champions that just get creamed right away, and strong conferences have teams that don't make it do to conference games.
