Is it true that if you don't have a bare minimum of a bachelors degree from a university, you will be restricted/limited to performing menial blue-collar labor for the rest of your life?

You are dead in the water in the work world without a BA.

Don't even bother applying for a job (any job) without a degree.

You must wait a minimum of 3 months between posting repetitive threads. Anyone with a college degree knows this.

Good luck trying to get a job w/o one!

You're either forced to do minimum wage jobs STRUGGLING to keep up with rent/utilities/car payments/insurance, or stuck at home with mom and dad!

Laborious jobs are not always minimum wage. I know plenty of people with jobs in the oil industry that are making $40 and up. Be open minded to more than a pencil pusher or making a good salary. You could make good money, and still not like what you do.

What's with the repetitive idea that a degree=money? Think how many years you'll have to spend paying for your degree also. Will it be worthwhile? Find something you're passionate about.

You've already given up.

Do what you do best. Why don't you start another "Gotta go to college or you'll end up like Mike Yates thread"?

College isn't plausible for me because of my intellectual and cognitive deficiencies.

I believe that you are full of shit.

The level of difficulty and workload between high school and college is astronomical. You won't make it through a quarter semester if you came unprepared.

Not many people at universities with IQ's below 100.

I have a Masters degree....my husband is a plumber, guess who makes more?

people pay well to see ass crack. They also make good porn scenarios. Something about taking their snake into that deep, dark, wet hole...

A masters degree in what? How much did your education cost? How much do you make?

Why don't you go back to school and earn a doctorate?

The best advice I can give is:

Find out what you love to do, then figure out how to get paid to do it. You'll be successful at it, have fun co-workers that share your passion, and most importantly; you'll be happy for most of the conscious hours of your life.

The most miserable people I know make over 6 figures a year. Studies show that the happiest people generally make between $50-75k.

Peace.

LMAO...let's not forget laying some pipe!

I have an MBA. The BS cost more than the Masters. If you can get your Bachelors degree, the Masters is a piece of cake.

I had to take out student loans and am still paying on them.

I do not make enough! ;)

MBA's are a dime a dozen. Most businesses take into consideration the kind of business school the job applicant went to, as well as their grades and test scores. A Wharton or Harvard MBA is more likely to get hired than someone who went to a b-school at a state college.

Good advice.

Let me add, tho, that regardless of what you do there are always a few souls who wanna piss in your punchbowl, cuz thats what they love to do.

You know what's really sad Mikey, you would have had about, 85 or so credits by now.
But hey, keep it up, maybe you'll get Real Life Earned Credits, from an e-university out there.

Mike Yates is an imposter. He's like the kids who roost at YOUTUBE posting vids about how to hack car batteries and pick locks with potatoes.

I tell you the info then you knock my degree???
They were the 'in' thing to do when I got mine. But you are correct, many people had the same advice and now there are MBA's everywhere. I have some other initials behind my name too that help. :p

What degree would you get if you were able to enroll in a college?

I have below-average intelligence so my choices in majors/studies is extremely limited.

I honestly have no idea.

I do not believe that you have limited choices or below-average intelligence! But what the Hell do I know, I am just a stinking MBA! :D
