Colleen Thomas RIP May 26, 2006

I will miss you very intently Colleen. I will always hold you in my
heart when I sit down to write. You were much more than an editor or
a colleague. I am, and will always remain, one of your greatest
fans. Goodbye my dear. We will meet again.

Words fail to sufficiently express the priviledge of knowing you and the loss felt at your passing. There are those who touch all those they come in contact with, down deep in your soul. Colly was the finest of any of us, a hole will remain where her wonderous spirit resided. May she find peace and a release from the pain she endured in life. You are celbrated and missed.

I just know that we were lucky to have known her for as long as we did, as much as I wish I could have known her longer. It will be a while before the scab forms over this pain. She was a great woman and there can't be enough good said about her. I am also making a point of dedicating my next Epistle story to her memory. It really is true that you don't know how much you care about someone until they are gone. The world is that much richer for her having lived, and that much poor for her having left us.

Sorry to hear that. It happens to ALL of us...sooner or later. RIP.
