Not meaning to sound ignorant but I still am to this...By interact with the kind of authors I relate to is that best done through comments on stories or some other means?

Feed back works well. Keeps things private, unlike comments, and if the author wishes to connect, they can.

Personally, I don't view see that the Comments function at the end of the story is very useful for actual interaction with an author. A more back and forth format is needed. All of my collaborations arose from the Forum side (Bulletin Board side).

This may just be me, in that I don't have things set up properly — But; I have never received "Feedback" from my author profile. I do get notices in my email inbox if I've received a new Private Message from the Bulletin Board here...so the website has my contact info. Does anyone else have this issue? Maybe I should try to send myself some feedback as a check?

So. I just sent myself two messages from the feedback function on my authors profile — neither one came through to my email. It's the same email as I use for the Bulletin Board, which does contact me when I get a new message. Any suggestions on what's wrong? The website notice says; successfully sent to yukonnights, etc.

I've also sent messages via the Bulletin Board. If I have something critical, which I hope will prove helpful, I do it out-of-public-view is I can.

Thank you for responding. The problem is that it appears that my Contact Author on the story side bio page does not forward the messages to my email. I just reset it again, saved the changes, sent myself a message which did not come through to the email account. Oh well, I guess I just won't get any messages sent that way, which is kind of a bummer.

I vaguely recall testing "feedback" to myself a year or so ago, and it took about twelve hours to navigate through server-land to my email in-box. Mind you, it wasn't snowing at the time, and if I recall correctly, no mooses (what's the plural of moose? Mice?).
