Perhaps my paranoia is getting the better of me, but in the last few days DeeperDown, Jaguar0405, KimMarie, mschievous63, and orvette1 have all asked for editorial help as newbies and all of them have the birthday quoted as November 30th.

Is this some strange coincidence (with a probability of less than one in 177,700,000,000), or is there a weird bug in the Lit software, or is someone messing us about?

I think if you don't fill in a birthdate, it automatically puts the November 30th thing in there. I could be wrong on my guess.

I didn't have my birthday listed for a long time and it was blank. Might go back and change it again. Who cares when I was born!

Very odd though ... but this is the internet!

You caught me! My birthdate isn't November 30. I don't remember it being a question at signup, to be honest. It must be the default.

Don't worry, there's no conspiracy. :)

Aye, there's no conspiracy. I, too, did not see any option for birthday in the sign-up. In fact, my birthday was just a couple of weeks ago.

We are all out to get you snoopy. :caning:

Oh no wait that's next year, darnit I let the cat out of the bag.

Actually what is happening is some are taking pity on you waiting for my next story so they set up a little thingy to hold your interest. ;)

Probably a default, I think when I signed up it was just set for november 30th to begin with.

Not to mention that November is 9 months after Valentine's Day...

("So, the child was conceived on August 1st?"
("Yes, Your Honor."
("And what were you and your husband doing at the time?")

If it took from Valentine's Day to the end of February, that's a looooong swim for a tiny wriggler.

("Why caused your previous marriage to be terminated?"
("Death, your Honour.
("Whose death?")
