Well, adjustable leather ones are great for fit. They can get in the way sometimes, though.
Rubber/metal rings don't get in the way and are easy to use, but it's hard to get a super fit.

I was introduced to the lasso style (similar to what SweetErika posted) about a yr ago when a man I was with decided he needed one in order to last longer, be bigger, whatever the reason he thought. I told him it wasn't necessary, but sometimes there's no arguing with a man... hehehe. There were times he complained about it hurting, and I think it was simply a matter of it being too tight. I think there's a fine line between effective and too much.

I have heard several horror stories about metal rings.. Namely, they have a nasty habit of getting stuck on your shaft necessitating the usue of a ring cutter.. Now, I have not seen this myself so naturally I cannot attest to its accuruacy. But I am fine not taking that chance..

I've posted this on other threads, but--

I have extensive experience with metal cock rings. It takes very little constriction to result in a firmer erection. Properly sized (meaning that it's not snug around the cock and balls when flaccid), a cock ring should not make a man hard; instead, it should keep a man hard when he's aroused.

That way, as soon as his arousal declines, there's enough space for normal blood flow. It won't get "stuck," it won't need to be cut off, and there's no danger of damage. Properly sized, a ring can be worn throughout the day, if desired.

Based on personal experience with metal rings, I don't recommend wearing them while sleeping. Involuntary nocturnal erections in a ring can be really painful.

Cock rings help maintain an erection for longer by constricting the blood flow at the base of the cock. They can be silicone, rubber, metal, leather and anything else you could probably come up with.

The only reason a cock ring would be too small would be if you didn't measure correctly for it.

Most likely, you didn't use lube, then. They always start out too small, but unless your cock is bigger than my fist, then it should strech enough.
