Hi,

I was browsing through roleplaying part of this forum and wondering if it would be good to compose a story a bit that way. There could be two or more authors who would each take responsibility for their "own" characters actions. Of course it wouldnt need to be proper roleplaying but more like work as a discussion and designing of the plot and dialog. Maybe it would be best that only one person would actually write the story to keep language same through the text.

Any experiences, ideas or comments about such? Or did I make any sense at all :D

Roleplays are fairly often converted into stories and posted in the archives. One thing I have observed though is that it only works with 3rd person POV.

Depending on the storyline you wanted, I think something similar to a SRP could be adapted into a "chain" story on Lit. You could have two (or more?) authors write up pretty much the same story from his/her point of view. I don't think it could be written in the same fashion as a SRP in that each author is only responsible for their character though.

In a SRP, each author only writes about a paragraph or two (without dialogue) so the next author can take over in the next post with a couple or so paragraphs.

In a Lit submitted story, you have to have a minimum of 750 words to be allowed to submit it to the site. That's roughly one and a quarter Word Processor pages if you use size 10 pt. font.

I think the on going chain (links in my sig line, and an active thread on this board) Orgy, Literotica Style! is similar to a "SRP turned story". Each author that is writing up a chapter is also a character in the chain. (And we chose to use our Lit screen names as character names, though any name could be used in a story of course!)

Take a look if you want. :)

And then, back to your thread, have you thought of any plot ideas yet? Were you looking to be an author working on this?
