CNN reporter Brooke Baldwin apologized after her comments linking military veterans who now work as police officers to the Baltimore riots associated with the death of Freddie Gray.
“I love our nation’s veterans, but some of them are coming back from war, they don’t know the communities, and they are ready to do battle,” Baldwin said during an interview with U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings. The two were discussing police recruitment.
She later apologized on Twitter. No wonder CNN is circling the toilet.
