Disgraced former CNN chief Jeff Zucker is out, and the unsettling response from the remaining staff is the stuff of cults. For years, everyone at CNN, every anchor and reporter, covered up Zucker’s inappropriate relationship with Allison Gollust, a subordinate who quickly climbed the ladder until she was in the number two spot. Worse still, everyone at CNN participated in Zucker and Gollust’s misinformation campaign to make then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) president.

CNN under Zucker was, without question, a disturbing cult of personality and, like all cults, home to a pantheon of creeps.

It's under new ownership.

Look out mama there's a white boat comin' up the river...

It'll take time. Recruiting new talent, all those behind the scene writers etc.

It will be hard to find replacements who
are not graduates of the same schools
with the exact same mindset...

;) ;)

But we've said that before.

"Mr. Stelter, we'll no longer be needing your services here."

"You're firing me??? Who the hell you think you're going to get to replace me?"

"Joe Rogan."

:D

Joe Rogan wouldn’t meet CNN’s minimum employment requirements.

Terms of Bill O'Reilly settlements revealed for first time

When the New York Times was preparing another story in October revealing that he had paid $32 million to a former colleague, O'Reilly lashed out at the reporters, saying he had "physical proof that this is bullshit."

CNN's collapse is now complete

Moving forward, what's next for CNN when the company falls under the Discovery Channel umbrella later this year? Let's hear from its soon-to-be largest shareholder, John Malone of Liberty Media.

"I would like to see CNN evolve back to the kind of journalism that it started with, and actually have journalists, which would be unique and refreshing," Malone said in an interview that recently aired on CNBC.

The collapse of CNN is now complete: Nine-out-of-ten viewers, gone. Its top-rated anchor, Chris Cuomo, gone. Its network president, gone. Its integrity in shambles.

Oh, and new management coming in that is signaling big-time changes ... changes that may bring CNN back to the proud network it once was before Jeff Zucker destroyed it.

I am kinda curious what the minimum employment requirements are in general. IT doesn't seem like being an anchor requires you to know anything I couldn't look up on wikipedia most of the time.
